How to prolong the service life of inflatable tents?

1. For your newly purchased inflatable tent, apply an extra layer of waterproof seam adhesive at the seams. Since the tent may have traveled through multiple stages from production to your hands, even if you've thoroughly inspected it in-store and found no issues, we recommend this additional waterproofing step to ensure optimal comfort.

2. Keep inflatable tents dry. After outdoor activities, hang them up to air-dry. If the tent is slightly dirty, gently scrub it with cold water. Never use chemical detergents or scrub vigorously, as this may damage the waterproof membrane on the fabric surface and reduce the tent's waterproof performance.

3. Mold on an inflatable tent can compromise its waterproofing. If mold appears, gently scrub the affected area with a sponge dipped in a small amount of cleaner.

4. When setting up camp outdoors, choose a flat surface and remove any protrusions from the designated area. This prevents back discomfort during sleep and avoids tent punctures. Prepare extra ground cloth and place it under the tenteither inside or outside. Positioning it outside helps keep the tent clean while protecting the ground cloth from stones or branches.

5. When entering an inflatable tent, do not wear shoes inside. Ultraviolet (UV) radiation from sunlight can compromise the fabric strength of the tent. If the camping site lacks sufficient tree shade to protect the tent, it is recommended to deploy a tarpaulin to shield the tent from direct sunlight.

6. When setting up an inflatable tent, it's best to secure it to the ground with camp nails. While modern tents can be erected without nails, nature's forces are formidable. Never assume the tent is safe as long as someone is inside or it's secured with a backpack. Experience shows that when nature's power kicks in, the tent can be blown away along with its occupants! Ensure the inflatable tent has good ventilation, as sweat and breath from sleeping increase humidity. Four people sharing one tent can accumulate up to 1 liter of water overnight. Without proper ventilation, you'll wake up to damp sleeping bags and mats.
